Every year since I can commemorate , we ’ve over - plant cucumbers . We planted them for different sizes – some for pickling , some for slicing . We also wanted to try unlike change and to compare cucumber smell . This yr , we ended the cuke parade . We determine to plant simply one variety ; the lemon cucumber .

The Versatile Lemon Cucumber

Any solar day now , we ’ll have our next big harvest and we ’ll go for the “ substantial ” pickle / canning with that slew . Cucumber relish is something that we have n’t try and I ’ve heard that lemon cucumber vine are ideal for relish ; so we ’ll give that a go this year , too .

While I ’ve given roughly three of these bad male child to my oldest girl , we ’re going to end up using every bit of our harvest time . We have n’t had any to deal !
